Frequently asked

What is Declare?
Declare is a faith app that gives Christians Scripture-rooted words: a verse, a short reflection, declarations to speak aloud, and a prayer for whatever is weighing on them in the moment. It’s built to feel like a sanctuary: calm, reverent, and rooted in the Word.
How does Declare choose a word for me?
When you name what you’re carrying, or write it in your own words, Declare meets you with Scripture that speaks to that struggle, then a short reflection, declarations to speak over yourself, and a prayer for that exact moment.
Which Bible translations are available?
Six: NKJV, NIV, NLT, KJV, WEB, and ASV. In The Word you can read up to three translations side by side, search Scripture, and set a default translation under Account › Appearance & reader.
How do I save a verse or word?
Tap the bookmark on any word, verse, declaration, or prayer. Everything you save lives in your Vault, a place to return to what God has spoken and speak it over yourself again.
Is Declare free?
Yes. Declare is free for everyone. It’s sustained by the generosity of those who give, so it can stay free for the next person searching at 3am.
How do I find and set my church?
Open My Church, then search by name or city or use your location. Open a church to see service times, livestream, and contact, and tap “Set as My Church” to make it your home.
What should I do in a crisis?
If you’re thinking about harming yourself, please reach out right now: call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 for emergencies. Declare never generates content for suicidal thoughts. It routes you straight to trained human help. Find help now →
Is my information private?
